After one of the best nights ever last night slept very well. My plan today was to go for a bit of a drive and check out some more of downtown Detroit. I had lunch at Hockeytown Cafe which has so much hockey memorabilia it was fantastic.
There is a lot of roadworks going on as they are building a tram up past the new hockey stadium. The baseball season starts next week too, so there are lots of things happening.
After a nice walk along the river I stopped into the massive GMC complex to visit Deedee and check the place out. She clued me into an awesome bar just at the top of the center building. 72nd floor it said on the elevator. So I am now having some high altitude beer. Awesome!
Tonight I am going to cook up a bolognaise for Deedee and myself and reminisce about the game last night.
