“I was happy to be Nick’s first couchsurfing host. He was a delight to host and my dog enjoyed the extra attention. My friends and family enjoyed 4 days of food, drink, walks and talks with him. I didn’t know much about Australia before he arrived. I know I can expect some good coffee when I go there and they won’t make me eat ants! He made a potato salad that was off the chart! I hope I can repeat it. He also made a very nice Australian version of bolognaise. Host this gentleman if you get the chance. Nick is what couchsurfing is all about. He may even show you some of his Indiana Jones moves! Cheers!”

“Nick is the best!
I have lived all together more than 2 weeks at his place and he entrusted me with his flat.
He is amazing! And very helpful.
He helped me where ever he can! We had also some long great chats.
Moreover, he can cook very well and playing the ukulele! He let me wash my clothes and showed me nice places in Brisbane.
In a word: he has a giant big heart..
I wish you only the best for the future! Come healthy back from Afganistan and come one day to Germany!
Thank you so much for all the moments!
I am sure that we will see us again 🙂
Best regards, Ina”

“Staying with Nick was the best! We had so much in common (particularly our passion for food, movies & video games haha)
I felt so comfortable in his lovely home and had such a laugh when we hung out with his equally awesome mate and had a great meal & drinks (expresso martini ;)..) the conversation was constantly flowing.
Nick is living proof that chivalry isn’t dead. He took me around the city and on a nice hike with beer at the end!!
Did I mention he’s an amazing chef??
Man I had such a good time! I’m so honoured that I could stay with such a cool guy and appreciate everything you done for me. You really went above & beyond and I was genuinely sad to leave your place as you were such great company.
Hopefully I can stop by on my way back down and complete Bloodbourne haha!
Remember to stop by LDN on your trip of Europe 🙂
Cheers again!”
